Mamra Almonds

Mamra almonds are a rare, wild-growing variety found only in the high-altitude valleys of Kandahar. Unlike California almonds — commercially pasteurized and heat-treated, stripping their natural oils — Mamra are sold completely raw and unprocessed. Press one between your fingers and rich, natural almond oil releases immediately. Just 3–4% of the world's almond harvest is Mamra grade.

We source exclusively from family farms in Kandahar's Arghandab Valley, where the trees have grown wild for centuries with no irrigation, no pesticides, and no chemical treatment of any kind.
