Walnut "Char Magaz"

"Char Magaz" means "four brains" in Dari — a reference to the walnut's four-lobed kernel that visually resembles the brain's hemispheres. Afghan walnuts from Nuristan are globally regarded as the finest available: larger, creamier, and less bitter than Chinese or Californian varieties. Our walnuts are hand-cracked by artisans to keep all four quarters of the kernel intact — a process that takes patience but preserves the full flavour, texture, and nutritional profile.
